A pair of Aussie friends in their twenties were feeling wild and carefree on their trip around Bali and decided to skinny dip in their private pool but made a shocking discovery as they plunged into the water.

Karina Horton and her friend Bella booked a modern high-walled villa in Bali that they thought was private and when they arrived early in the morning they ditched their clothes and jumped into the water to cool off.

Shockingly, the villa turned out not to be private at all.

The friends sheepishly wave at the onlooker as he hangs around to make small talk.

“You woke me up, where are you from?” A male voice can be heard saying.

“Australia” they answer in unison before waiting for him to leave.

After he leaves they climb out of the pool off-camera and pull on their towels.

“POV: we thought we booked a private villa but when we arrived at 6am we soon realised...” the pair captioned the video that they posted on TikTok, making light of their slip up.

“We were shocked and surprised, but we then looked online and realised it wasn’t advertised as shared or private” the pair commented.

The original clip has amassed 20 million views and over 1.7 million likes according to The Sun.

“Skinny dipping as soon as you get there is crazy,” one person commented.

“The giggles, I can’t,” wrote another.

“Omg this is too funny!” said a third.
