Jillian Shriner: Weezer star Scott Shriner’s wife shot by police, arrested on attempted murder charges

Chaotic scenes have unfolded in a Los Angeles neighbourhood as the wife of a US rock star was chased and shot by police before being arrested on attempted murder charges.
A LAPD press release says officers went to a home near the 134 Freeway and Figueroa Street after an alleged hit-and-run.
When police arrived at a nearby residential home, they were confronted by Jillian Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, when she exited her home with a handgun.

Officers ordered Mrs Shriner to drop her handgun multiple times, however, she refused.
In an alarming alleged escalation, LAPD claim Mrs Shriner pointed her hand gun at officer.
The alleged action prompted officers to shoot Mrs Schriner, who then fled into her residence.
Shortly after, she exited her home and was taken under police guard to hospital.
Since, Mrs Shriner was booked for attempted murder.
LAPD said no officers were hurt in the incident.
