King Charles’ plan to reunite Prince William and Prince Harry revealed
A new plan to finally bring the feuding royal brothers back together has emerged.
King Charles is reportedly backing a plan that could bring his estranged sons Prince William and Prince Harry together as the royal family prepares to mark 30 years since Princess Diana’s death.
The Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex have remained deeply divided for years, with William reportedly reluctant to repair their relationship following a series of public accusations made by Harry and Meghan Markle after they stepped back from royal duties.
But Charles, who continues to undergo cancer treatment, is said to be keen to see his sons reconcile, and royal insiders believe their late mother could provide a rare opportunity to bring them together.

The King has reportedly “raised no objection” to the proposed service, which could see both William and Harry take part.
A royal source told the Daily Mail the event could provide an “inspirational way to remember Diana”, with William potentially giving a reading in honour of his mother.
“It would also serve to bring the brothers together,” the source said.
The proposed service could be similar to one held at the Guards’ Chapel at Wellington Barracks in 2007 to mark the 10th anniversary of Diana’s death.
Her favourite music was played during that service, while Harry delivered a eulogy to his mother.
The latest proposal comes as Harry separately considers making a television documentary about Diana to coincide with next year’s anniversary.
A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex confirmed he had been exploring several possible projects to commemorate his mother.
“The duke has discussed a number of possible projects,” the spokesman told the Daily Mail.
“Nothing has been finalised or confirmed, and he is still considering the most meaningful way to honour his mother’s legacy during this important anniversary year.”
Harry is understood to have approached several of Diana’s friends and relatives about potentially participating in a documentary.
The project could reportedly be made through Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions, which has a first-look agreement with Netflix.
William has also reportedly received numerous approaches to participate in a separate television program about Diana but is not expected to accept.
Instead, royal insiders believe a formal memorial service could provide a more dignified way for William to publicly commemorate his mother while avoiding the appearance of competing with his younger brother.
The brothers previously came together for a BBC documentary, Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, to mark the 20th anniversary of her death in 2017.
However, their relationship deteriorated dramatically in the following years.
Their last public appearance together was at the unveiling of a statue of Diana at Kensington Palace in July 2021, four months after Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
William and Harry were also both present at King Charles’ coronation in 2023 and attended the funeral of their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes in Norfolk in 2024, although they were reportedly not seen interacting.
