Despite the King's health concerns he is still rumoured to visit down under, but with a few changes.

King Charles and Queen Camila are set to visit Australia for almost a week in October this year.

The royal couple will be in Australia for six days before heading to Samoa for three days, the Daily Mirror reports.

It will be a scaled back tour, with a visit to New Zealand likely to be dumped from the itinerary as King Charles continues to undergo treatment for cancer.

“All are aware of the King’s ongoing health and the need for him to pace himself. It’s very much hoped there will be further opportunities in the future,” a Royal insider said.

Buckingham Palace is unlikely to confirm the reports until days before the event.

It’s understood state and territory leaders are vying to host the Royal couple.

Charles and Camila last visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in 2018 for the Commonwealth Games.
