“Colour change” refers to the skin, lips and nails turning blue or purple due to low oxygen levels in blood, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

An official cause of death is yet to be revealed.

The troubling months leading up to Victoria’s death have also come to light, including arrests and a history with cocaine.

Victoria’s first run-in came on April 26, when police attending a home in Napa, California, found her with white residue on her tongue and dried blood coming from her right nostril, TMZ reports.

Officers claimed she admitted to using cocaine and resisted arrest after being handcuffed.

She was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer.

Victoria was arrested again on June 13 following reports of a domestic violence incident in Napa County.

A man told police he had been struck in the face by Victoria during an argument about her drug use. She was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Victoria pleaded not guilty in both cases.

Prior to her downfall, Victoria showed interest in following Tommy Lee into acting, making her debut alongside him in 2002’s Men In Black II..

She later appeared in One Tree Hill in 2003 and in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in 2005, a film directed by her father.

Tommy Lee described Victoria as a “good actress” but jokingly “fired” her from the set of the 2005 movie.

“She had to get up at 5am for her part. One morning, she wouldn’t get out of bed,” he told the New Yorker in 2006.

“I said, ‘Honey, this is work.’ But she wouldn’t budge. So I fired her.

“Then, without telling me, the production staff went over and woke her and rushed her out to the set just in time.”

While she left her acting career behind, Victoria continued to make red carpet appearances alongside her father.

The family is yet to make an official statement in relation to her death.
