Cranbourne carjacking: Man suffers life-threatening injuries in stabbing as two women arrested
A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed during an alleged carjacking in Melbourne’s southeast on Sunday night.
Police say two women approached a 35-year-old man near a strip of shops on Lurline St, Cranbourne about 9.40pm and allegedly stabbed him before stealing his car.
It’s believed the man attempted to seek help inside a nearby pizza shop but collapsed onto the road.

A 33-year-old Mornington woman and a 28-year-old Carrum Downs woman were arrested a short time later in Pakenham.
They are currently speaking with police.
Just a few minutes before the stabbing police said the pair had allegedly attempted to carjack a woman on Sladen St but were unsuccessful.
