The school has been plagued by lockdowns in recent years due to safety threats as students embroiled in fights have brandished weapons.
In May 2018, police were called to the school after a student pulled out a hammer during a mass brawl.
In another alarming incident, just six months ago, students were forced into classrooms after a pupil wielded a knife on campus.
