A 25-year-old man has suffered a life-threatening head injury in a motorbike crash with a car at Paradise Point on the Gold Coast.

A young man is fighting for his life after his motorbike and a car crashed on a Gold Coast road.

The 25-year-old man was riding on Oxley Dr in Paradise Point when he crashed with a Kia Stinger about 10.13am on Tuesday.

He suffered a life-threatening head injury and was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

An 81-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Kia was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The 77-year-old man driving the car was uninjured.

Police were unable to provide further information about the crash.

Investigations continue.
