Man undergoes surgery after finger bitten in road rage clash in Victoria
A man requires surgery after his finger was bitten during an argument triggered by a road rage incident in Victoria at the weekend.
The clash came as the 63-year-old Rowville man was driving on Glenfern Rd in Upwey, southeast of Melbourne about 3.15pm on Saturday.
He was travelling at under 40 km/h due to Country Fire Authority backburning in the area when a light-coloured Kia Rio, or a similar car, began tailgating him and repeatedly honking its horn.

The younger man got out of his vehicle, approached the 63-year-old, who had his window down, and pushed him.
He then bit the victim’s finger before returning to his car and driving off toward Wellington Village in Rowville.
The 63-year-old later went to the hospital on his own, where he required surgery to treat the wound.
