A woman has been stabbed in the head in a suspected home invasion in the Northern Territory.

A woman has been stabbed in the head in a suspected home invasion in the Northern Territory.

Emergency services were called to a home in Alice Springs about 4.15pm on Wednesday following reports of an aggravated burglary.

The woman was alone when three offenders broke a window and entered the home.

They were allegedly armed, with the woman suffering stab wounds to her hands, arms and head. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The trio fled the scene without stealing anything, and are still at large.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
