Breakfast Point: Several men charged after wild brawl with hammers and cars rammed
A wild rolling brawl erupted in a suburb of Sydney’s inner west on Monday as a group of men fought with hammers and drove cars at each other.
Shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were called to Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point, following reports of an assault.
Police were told a number of people allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old man and a 54-year-old man with hammers.

A short time later, as the group approached a car, the 54-year-old man allegedly deliberately drove his car into the other car, causing significant damage to both vehicles and motorcycle was also damaged.
The group of people allegedly fled on foot and three men were arrested a short distance away.
Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
Two men, aged 18, and a 19-year-old man were taken to Burwood police station.
The 22-year-old man was assessed at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head.
The 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Auburn police station.
He was charged with predatory driving and refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday.
The three other men were all charged with affray.
They were granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday December 10.
