Man dead, one hospitalised after shooting outside Sydney pub

A man is dead and another fighting for life in hospital after a shooting outside a pub in Sydney’s inner west.

Police were called to the Harold, on Ross St, Forest Lodge, about 6.40pm on Sunday.

They found two people had been shot multiple times before the alleged offenders fled the scene in a car.

One of the victims — a man — was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

Another man was also treated for gunshot wounds and taken to the nearby Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
