Man missing after jumping off cliff and into the Nepean River at Nortons Basin in Mulgoa, NSW
A large-scale search is underway for a man missing after jumping off a cliff and into a waterhole south of Penrith, NSW.
It’s believed the man, thought to be in his 60s, disappeared after jumping into the Nepean River at Nortons Basin, Mulgoa, about 11am on Saturday.
The man was fishing and told his partner he was going for a swim then jumped into the river. When he didn’t resurface, she called for help, police said.

“A PolAir crew is also en route to assist,” police said.
