Truck smashes into five cop cars, a Toyota Camry and a prime mover while leading police on wild chase through Western Sydney
Five police cars were damaged in a wild chase through Western Sydney early Saturday morning.
The drama began just after midnight when police swooped on Toongabbie Rd Girraween as a man was allegedly trying to steal a truck.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.However the man allegedly fled in the truck and smashed into a prime mover parked nearby before heading along Gilba Rd and crashing into a fence on Oramzi Rd, with police pursuing the vehicle.
The chase went on through several streets before the truck crashed again, this time into a parked Toyota Camry on Normac Rd in Girraween.
Still, the truck continued, making its way on to the Great Western Hwy and along Blacktown Rd towards the intersection of Cornelia Rd and Ellam Dr, Toongabbie.
Road spikes were deployed at the intersection of Aldgate Street and again near Metella Rd, closing off escape routes, and a roadblock was established at the intersection of the Great Western Hwy and Tarlington Pl, Prospect.
The truck then collided with five police vehicles, and the man was finally stopped and arrested.
The 45-year-old man driving the truck was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital for assessment, where he remained on Saturday morning.
Five police cars were damaged in the incident and one officer was assessed by paramedics after the airbags in his vehicle were deployed when his vehicle hit a power pole.
There were no other reports of injuries to police or other road users.
