Manhunt following explosions, fire in Gosford city centre
A man of “short stature (and) chubby build” is wanted by NSW Police after several explosions and a fire at an office block led to mass evacuations on the NSW Central Coast.
The major operation unfolded following reports a man had thrown, what had been described as fire bombs, at two separate businesses inside a building on Donnison St in Gosford about 2.20pm on Thursday - a Legal Aid Office and another local law firm.

A building on the same street was later reported on fire.
“Police were told that a man entered the office before allegedly lighting a fire and fleeing the scene,” police said.
Paramedics treated a 54-year-old employee for smoke inhalation, with no other injuries reported.
Investigators now “wish to speak with a man seen in the area at the time of the incident”.
He is described as aged in his 60s and of short stature with a chubby build.
He was wearing an all-black face covering, a black t-shirt, dark pants and shoes, and a dark cap.
Donnison St remains closed in all directions, and the community is urged to avoid the area.
