Man's body found in western Sydney floodwaters
A man has been found dead in floodwaters in outer western Sydney.
The body was found by a passer-by near a Penrith reserve on Saturday morning before emergency services were called to the scene about 7.45am.
The man has not yet been formally identified and the cause of the death was unknown, police said in a statement.

Almost a dozen parts of Penrith are subject to prepare-to-evacuate warnings.
The man’s death is the second associated with the weather system.
