Two men, aged 23 and 21, were stabbed by an unknown man inside the train station.
Police allege the younger man was stabbed in the chest and arm following a verbal altercation in the carriage.
The attacker left the carriage and stabbed the 23-year-old man in the arm on the platform, police say.
Paramedics treated the two men for their injuries, and they were transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Trains on the T5 Cumberland line were forced to a halt about 2pm, with commuters told the closure was “due to a police operation”.
The train schedule resumed about an hour later.
A 34-year-old man was arrested by police at a home in Woodville Rd in Guildford about 3pm the same day.
He was charged with reckless wounding and aggravated assault with intent to rob.
He is expected to face Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
