Mona Vale Beach: Woman’s body found with stab wounds early Thursday morning

Police have launched an investigation after a woman’s body was discovered with stab wounds on Mona Vale Beach early Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the northern beaches location just after 6am following reports of a body on the sand.
The discovery was made by early morning surfers and walkers.

Police have established a crime scene and temporarily closed the beach car park while investigations continue.
“A police operation is underway in Mona Vale after a body was located on the beach. A crime scene has been established. There is no further information available at this time,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
Authorities are treating the incident as a possible case of self-harm.
