Narellan Vale: Pregnant woman fighting for life after horror alleged DV attack

A woman is fighting for life in hospital after a horrific alleged domestic violence attack where she was assaulted and run over by a vehicle.
Police say the 36-year-old woman, who the Daily Mail reports is pregnant, is in a critical condition after the alleged assault in Sydney’s southwest on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Maddison Court in Narellan Vale about 8.30am to find the woman suffering multiple injuries.

“Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command initiated a search to locate a man police believed could assist with inquiries into the incident,” a police statement about the incident reads.
A 36-year-old man was arrested just before 11am in a phone box near Camden Valley Way.
He has been taken to Narellan Vale Police Station.
The NSW government on Wednesday launched a landmark strategy to respond to domestic and family violence perpetrators.
The strategy will continue work already underway including the Men’s Behaviour Change Program, strengthening services, building evidence on effective interventions, improving collaboration between services and evaluating progress.
Wednesday marked the final day of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
In 2024, NSW Police recorded more than 100,000 domestic violence–related crimes, and 39 people in the state were killed in domestic violence-related murders.
In the last 10 years, domestic violence sexual offences increased by 103 per cent, domestic violence assaults by 31 per cent and breaches of apprehended violence orders by 90 per cent.
