A man’s body has been recovered from Sydney’s Rose Bay as police launch an investigation into the grim Thursday afternoon discovery.

A man’s body has been pulled from the water in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The body was found about 5pm on Thursday at Vickery Ave, Rose Bay, police said.

Police said they worked to remove the body from the water.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
