Rouse Hill: Teen girl, 12, charged after alleged gang assault on commuter at metro station

A 12-year-old girl has been charged over the alleged assault of a woman at Rouse Hill metro station earlier this week.
Police reported that emergency services were called to the station about 4.15pm on Tuesday, October 21, following reports an 18-year-old woman had been attacked by a group of teenagers.
Officers from Police transport command North West were told a group of five teens allegedly approached and assaulted a woman who was not known to them.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.The woman then boarded a train, where the group allegedly continued to attack her. Members of the public intervened to help, and the victim was later treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 12-year-old girl at a Lalor Park address around 2pm on Thursday.
She was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
The girl was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at a children’s court on November 7.
Police said investigations are continuing.
