Two men shot multiple times in brazen Sydney attack

Two men have been injured as they were shot multiple times in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services arrived at Church St, Parramatta, to find the men with gunshot wounds in a car about 5.10pm Sunday.
Two uninjured men were also inside the vehicle.

Soon after the shooting, police located a car and tree on fire in Sherwood St, Merrylands West.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, however the vehicle was destroyed.
Police will investigate whether the two incidents are linked.
A crime scene has been established at both locations.
Anyone with information or relevant footage is urged to contact police.
“I am horrified by the level of violence we have seen on our streets tonight,” NSW Minister for Police and Counter-Terrorism minister said in a statement on Sunday night.
“I understand the community is concerned, and rightly so.
“I want to assure them that police are working around the clock to identify and arrest those responsible.”
