A man has died in a workplace accident at a recycling facility in Sydney’s south.

Emergency services were called to a recycling centre on Little Forrest Road in Lucas Heights about 12pm on Tuesday after reports of an incident.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and attempted to treat the 31-year-old man but he died at the scene.

NSW Police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner and the incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW.
