A woman has been treated for injuries after being attacked in a Brisbane street and slashed with scissors
A coversation in the street led to an enraged attack as a man slashed a woman around the head with a pair of scissors in Brisbane.
The 25-year-old man has been charged after the woman was allegedly assaulted in South Brisbane on Monday.
Police are reporting that shortly before 9pm, the man approached a 58-year-old woman at a community hall on Cordelia Street.

The woman sustained non-life-threatening wounds to her head and face and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the man at the scene soon after.
The West End man has been charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, wilful damage and contravene direction of a police officer.
He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
