Crohamurst: Motorbike rider killed after collision with car at Sunshine Coast, QLD

A man has been killed after the motorbike he was riding hit a car on the Sunshone Coast.

The Sunshine Coast forensic crash unit is investigating the fatal traffic crash in Crohamhurst on Sunday.

Just after 5pm, a green Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling on Bretons Road when it crashed into a gold Nissan Patrol.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old Crohamhurst man, died at the scene.

A 22-year-old Peachester woman, the driver and sole occupant of the Nissan, was not physically injured.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
