E-scooter rider, 15, killed in horror multi-vehicle crash in Deeragun, Queensland

A young e-scooter rider has been killed after a horror multi-vehicle crash in Queensland.

The forensic crash unit is investigating the fatal crash at Deeragun on Monday evening.

Emergency crews were called to the crash at the intersection of Deeragun Road and the Bruce Highway at about 5.15pm, where initial investigations indicate an e-scooter rider crashed with a Mitsubishi Pajero and then a motorbike.

The 15-year-old female e-scooter rider from Townsville died at the scene.

The 65-year-old motorbike rider from Ingham sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The 36-year-old female driver of the Pajero from Townsville was not injured in the crash.
