Shane Warne would have turned 57 this week, and his children have marked it in emotional online posts.

The children of legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne have paid tribute to their dad on what would have been his 57th birthday.

Warne died of a heart attack in Thailand in March, 2022, aged 52.

On Monday, 27-year-old son Jackson shared a video his dad had sent him while at St Andrews in Scotland playing golf before he passed away.

“And this is me rugged up in my beanie, I’ve got about four different layers on, I’ve got a little snoot here to walk like that,” Shane is filmed saying, as he pulled the piece of clothing over his mouth and nose while he spoke.

“Keeps my neck and that warm and I’ve got a vest, a jumper, a polo, and a thermal underneath there as well to stay warm ‘cos (the weather) said it’s four degrees.”

Shane said he was “bloody nervous” for the golf, talking his kids through his hopes for the game.

“Love you guys... six sleeps and I see you guys, yay,” he continued.

“Hope you had a good day, missing and loving you lots.”

Jackson captioned the video: “Missing these updates, happy Birthday Dad.”

Daughter Brooke, 29, commented, “These updates were the best, miss them so much”.

On her TikTok account, Brooke shared a chaotic, touching birthday tribute to her dad with her siblings.

“POV You try and do a sentimental birthday video for Dad but none of you can take things seriously and we are all nuts,” text at the beginning of the video read.

Each of the siblings take turns putting candles into a birthday cake explaining something they’ve done since their dad died.

Brooke spoke about starting her own cooking channel and getting engaged, Jackson told his dad about his podcast and job, and Summer shared her acting school endeavours.

Brooke’s fiance, Alex Heath, was also featured, wishing “Shane-o” a happy birthday.

“Since you’ve been gone I asked Brooke to marry me and she said yes.. miss you,” he said.

In the caption, Brooke wrote, “It was nice to laugh on such a hard day, it’s chaos and Dad would have loved it, Happy Heavenly birthday Dad”.

Summer shared an image of her dad and a dog on her Instagram story to the tune of Coldplay’s Sparks.

“Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad,” she wrote.

“I miss you more than words can describe.

“Wish I could give you a big cuddle.”

She followed it up with a blooper of Shane making a video for the Ruth Strauss Foundation’s two point six challenge at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, bouncing a cricket ball on a tennis racquet.

“Miss funny little moments like this,” she wrote.

Damian Hurley, son of supermodel Elizabeth Hurley — who dated Warne from 2010 to 2013 — also paid tribute to the cricketer.

He posted a carousel with five photographs featuring Warne with the caption, “Happy heavenly birthday, SW”, followed by a dove and white heart emoji.

Photos included pictures of Damian with Warne, his mum, and Warne’s kids.

Summer, Jackson, and Brooke all commented on the post offering their love to the 24-year-old.
