Emergency services are responding after a person was hit by a train at a railway crossing, prompting road closures and delays in the area.

Emergency services have been called to the railway crossing near Pym Street after a person was hit by a train in Adelaide’s inner north.

Police were called to the scene at Dudley Park just after 8.30am on Tuesday.

Train services have been restricted and road closures are in place as emergency crews respond.
