The woman has broken her silence revealing the heartbreaking reason she snapped.

Fresh bullying claims have emerged at an Adelaide private Catholic school where a fed-up mother was filmed berating a student who had allegedly been harassing her daughter.

The mum went viral last week after she threatened to “slit the throat” of a 12-year-old girl inside a classroom at St Paul’s College, in the city’s northeast.

In the wake of the incident, the mother told 7NEWS she was sorry for her behaviour but claimed she had reached boiling point after repeated complaints to the school about her child’s bully had been ignored.

Now, another parent has claimed she removed her son from the school two years ago because staff failed to address her bullying complaints.

She said he was bullied for two terms — and one of his antagonists was a member of staff.

“We went to the principal, then Catholic education, but not much happened,” she told 7NEWS.com.au.

“It was two terms for us when my husband and I marched in (to the school’s office) and made a bigger drama than this poor lady.

“We removed our son straight away and moved him back to an all-boys school.

“It was the best thing we have ever done.

“It is shocking this is still happening.”

7NEWS understands school management was different in 2023, with a new principal taking over the role in January this year.

EREA Colleges, the governing body of St Paul’s College, said their schools provide clear expectations in relation to bullying and harassment as part of the student conduct requirements.

“EREA Colleges works closely with students in our schools across the nation to provide safe and supportive learning environments,” the governing body told 7NEWS.com.au.

“EREA Colleges and our colleges ensure all allegations and safety concerns are responded to as a priority and consistent with our safeguarding policies, student codes of conduct and in compliance with all relevant jurisdictional obligations.

“Schools report incidents of bullying and harassment and, where appropriate, responses are taken in relation to failures to adhere to our expected conduct standards.”

In the recent viral video, the fed-up mother can be heard verbally abusing the teenage girl in front of her peers during a class at the school.

“You ever f******* mess with my daughter again, I’ll slit you f******* throat,” she screamed.

“You want to f******* go b***h? You want to f****** go? You ever f******* talk to my daughter again.”

The mother claims her daughter has been bullied for more than 12 months and she was pushed over the edge after the student recently told her child to take her own life.

She said her daughter’s mental health has rapidly deteriorated as a result.

“It has been extremely difficult, we have had suicide attempts, we’ve had our daughter refuse to go to school,” she said.

“To see the physical effects it’s had on her mental health is destroying us as a family.”

Both parents of the bullied teen have since received an email from St Paul’s informing them that they have “breached the parent code of conduct’”.

They are now barred from stepping onto school grounds, and their daughter has been suspended from attending St Paul’s College while the matter is being investigated.
