Man hospitalised following stabbing inside The Reject Shop on Puckle St, Moonee Ponds
A man has been stabbed by a stranger on a busy shopping strip in Melbourne’s inner northwest.
Police were first alerted to a woman armed with a knife inside The Reject Shop on Puckle St, Moonee Ponds about 11am on Thursday.
The woman allegedly slashed a 74-year-old man in the neck before running away towards Hall St.

Police have now arrested a 46-year-old Kensington woman in relation to the incident.
She has been taken to hospital under police guard and is expected to be interviewed after she is released.
