Man killed in tragic incident on private property in regional Victoria
A man has died after being struck by a falling tree while clearing land on a property.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Koroit, about 270km west of Melbourne, just after 2.40pm on Monday.
“It is understood the man was felling trees on a private property,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.

No further details about the victim have been released.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
