A teen driver has been rushed to hospital following a serious crash that also injured three young children in WA’s Wheatbelt.

The 18-year-old was behind the wheel of a Toyota 4WD that flipped on Canover Rd in the coastal town of Jurien Bay, 220km north of Perth, just after 9.30am.

The driver was taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious condition.

Three children aged between one and seven were taken to Jurien Bay Medical Centre.

Their injuries were not life-threatening.

Inquiries into the single vehicle rollover crash are ongoing, WA Police said.
