Carrie Bickmore: Radio host flooded by celeb and fan messages after posting vulnerable crying selfie from bed

Carrie Bickmore has solidified her standing as one of Australia’s most authentic media personalities by sharing a far-from-flattering version of herself that’s garnered a flood of support from celebrities and fans alike.
The Hit radio personality — who hosts the Carrie & Tommy show with Tommy Little — posted a vulnerable “bad day” selfie from her bed on Tuesday as she explained her state of mind.
“Posted this pic to my stories and got flooded with people having bad days too,” she wrote.

Typically well-presented on screen or in the studio, the image depicted a crestfallen version of the former The Project host whose mascara had become smeared across her upper cheeks.
“(Also how quick did my ‘don’t mess with me attitude’ disappear 🫠 😂),” she added.
“(Also the black mark is mascara running down my face)xxx”.
Renowned for her easy-going attitude and bubbly persona, the 45-year-old was met with a wave of support from her high profile mates.
“Oh no. This made me cry 😭 I feel you. Tomorrow is always a new day. Btw you have the cutest cry face xxx,” TV personality Sophie Monk responded.
“Stay strong lovely. You got this🙏Sending you lots of light, love and hugs.❤️😘,” former tennis pro Jelena Dokic wrote.
Podcaster Oliva Molly Rogers said simply, “Love you ♥️♥️”.
The image follows an almost identical post from March 2025 in which a teary-eyed Bickmore sought to remind her 789k followers that “we all have sad days”.

The presenter’s willingness to unmask her emotions was more publicly expressed in November upon being awarded Victorian of the year at the Australian of the year awards.
As the founder of BC4BC — a brain cancer charity founded 10 years ago — the media star and health advocate conceded she wouldn’t have been in a position to claim the honour if not for her late husband Greg Lange’s cancer battle.
“It’s really bittersweet to be honest, because I wouldn’t be here unless my late husband had died,” a teary Bickmore told those in attendance.
“And so while I a graciously accept the award, if I could go back and make that little 21-year-old, young Carrie, not have to watch her boyfriend have a seizure in bed and then endure a nine-year battle with brain cancer, I would do that.”
The mother shares son Oliver with Lange, and daughters Evie and Adelaide with ex-partner Chris Walker, announcing her split from the latter in January 2023.

In late December, Bickmore returned home to WA for a refreshing beach holiday surrounded by family, declaring “the worst fly season in 40 years did not dampen the most amazing week with my sisters and nieces and our kids in Eagle Bay”.
The Perth-raised figure posted several images from the beach smiling as she soaked up sun in the summer hotspot.
