Hugh Jackman’s new relationship with Sutton Foster may not be as rosy as it seems, with an inside source revealing the pair are working through a rough patch.

Jackman, 57, hard launched his relationship with the Broadway star, 51, a year and a half after calling it quits on his marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness in 2023.

But what appeared to be one of Hollywood’s happiest new romances may already be showing signs of strain.

According to an insider, Jackman’s “workaholic” lifestyle is causing issues between the pair as they struggle to find quality time together.

The source also claimed the star’s jam-packed agenda is pushing Foster to understand the difficulties faced by Furness during their marriage.

“Hugh’s a workaholic and she’s starting to understand how lonely Deb must have felt at times,” the source told Woman’s Day.

As an accomplished actor and singer with a busy career and schedule as a mother, Foster is also struggling to fit her partner’s agenda into the mix.

“Sutton’s finding it hard to be by Hugh’s side at so many events and he invites her to every single one,” the insider said.

“It’s not that she’s shy, but she’s busy with her own career and still has a young daughter to raise.”

While Sutton reportedly supported Jackman’s two-year plan to knuckle down for work, the insider said she is growing tired of the “interminable” schedule.

“Hugh’s got a lot of ground to make since that rather expensive divorce so he’s thrown himself into work, initially with Sutton’s full blessings,” the insider added.

“The plan was to focus on their careers over the next two years and then take some serious time off, like six months or so, to tie the knot, but it’s becoming interminable and everyone’s worried it’s causing more harm than good.

“Sadly, the biggest casualty of all is Hugh and Sutton finding quality time together – they’re like passing ships sometimes.

“It’s worth pointing out that not that long ago Sutton had an absolutely devoted husband at her beck and call. Now she feels like a single mum and her friends are worried how long she can last without that level of support.

“The problem is, Hugh can’t back down now, There’s just too much money and reputation at stake, but if Hugh loses Sutton because of it, he won’t be a happy A-list billionaire.”
