The footage shows Urban singing different lyrics in his song The Fighter, which is believed to be inspired by his romance with Kidman, on September 26.

Maggie Baugh, a country music artist currently touring with Urban, posted a clip of the pair performing the song alongside each other which captured the change.

The original lyric is: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter”.

Instead Urban sang: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”

The 25-year-old musician posted the video to her Instagram with the caption “did Keith Urban just say that” alongside shocked emojis.

The lyric change has prompted some fans to speculate further about the break up, with social media users quickly chiming in.

“OK, dumping Nicole is looking more suspect,” one Instagram user commented on the post.

“Rumour has it.”

“And no he’s getting divorced ... eeeeeeek!”

This comes after TMZ reported Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban on Tuesday.

In the papers, Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.

When the pair got married, they signed a prenuptial agreement to protect their assets, which reportedly included a “cocaine” clause which may make Urban millions.

The agreement sets out that if Urban remained clean from drugs and alcohol he would receive $900,000 from Kidman for every year they were married.

If he was sober for the whole length of the marriage this would add up to more than $17 million.
