Lily Allen has landed a spot on one of the art world’s most prestigious walls, with the cover of her West End Girl album now hanging in London’s National Portrait Gallery.

The striking portrait — showing Allen in a blue padded jacket with white polka dots, a lace mini skirt and spotted knee high boots — was painted by Spanish artist Nieves Gonzalez and has quickly become the defining image of the singer’s bold new era.

Allen took to Instagram on Friday to reveal fans will now be able to see the full artwork up close, with the piece set to remain on display for the next year.

The gallery moment caps off a whirlwind comeback for the 40-year-old, whose latest album has sparked intense attention for its raw and deeply personal themes.

But the excitement isn’t reserved for London as Australian fans gear up to watch Allen perform this November for the first time in seven years as part of the biggest headline tour of her career.

She will take the stage at RAC Arena on November 1 — a significant upgrade from her last local appearance at Metro City during her 2019 No Shame tour.

The show will centre around West End Girl, her tell-all album inspired by the breakdown of her four year marriage to Stranger Things star David Harbour.

Despite its heavy subject matter, the album has been a commercial hit, peaking at number two on the UK albums chart and breaking into the top 10 in Australia.

Standout tracks Madeline and Pussy Palace have resonated strongly with listeners, with Pussy Palace landing at #38 in the Triple J Hottest 100 2025 and West End Girl at #88.

Fans heading along to her Perth show will also be hoping for a dose of nostalgia, with classics like Smile, Not Fair and F**k You likely to feature alongside her new material.
