The Logies is celebrating 70 years of Aussie TV, and Robert is telling us all that THREE inductees into the Logies Hall Of Fame will be announced tonight.

Now he’s back to being cheeky, giving Karl Stefanovic and Hughsey a shout-out, and yeah.... THAT happened!

Poh Ling Yeow is celebrating her second Gold Logie nomination after another year at the helm of MasterChef Australia, but it was a cheeky confession from her fellow judges that had her in stitches on the red carpet.

Poh burst out laughing when The Nightly revealed Andy Allen and Sofia Levin had both voted her the most dangerous MasterChef co-host to sit beside after a few drinks.

“That is hysterical! They are always trying to get me drunk,” she joked.

The TV Week Logies Red Carpet telecast has begun, with Sonia Kruger and Chris Brown presiding.

Their first guest? Sam Pang! Who says he was “very happy” to have handed the hosting reigns to Robert Irwin.

Making his mark as the youngest host in Logies history, Robert Irwin couldn’t be happier to be taking on Australian television’s biggest night.

Asked by The Nightly whether he had brought any wildlife along for the evening, Irwin refused to confirm or deny, keeping audiences guessing about what tricks he may have up his sleeve.

He said the hosting gig was a chance to bring his message of wildlife conservation from Australia Zoo to a stage he never thought he would be on.

There won’t be much time to recover from the celebrations, with the wildlife warrior revealing he is heading straight to Cape York to catch crocodiles once the Logies wraps.

“Probably safer than the actual Logies afterparty,” he joked, as fans erupted while he spoke with The Nightly.
