UK rapper and YouTube star Young Filly to stand trial for rape, assault

British YouTuber and musician Yung Filly will fight allegations that he raped and choked a woman in a hotel room after a gig.
Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, returned to Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old, who is on bail with strict conditions, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s following a performance in the city’s northern suburbs in September.

He also denied impeding the woman’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to her neck.
The London rapper, who has 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and millions of Instagram and TikTok followers, was arrested in Brisbane and extradited to Perth in October.
Barrientos’s Wikipedia page says he was born in Colombia.
He started his YouTube career in 2013 and music career in 2017.
He has also appeared on numerous television shows, including BBC’s Hot Property, which he hosted in 2018.
Barrientos was previously fined and banned from driving for six months after he pleaded guilty to reckless driving in November, while on bail.
He is scheduled to return to the Perth District Court on June 13 for a trial listing hearing.
