Nicole Kidman discusses Babygirl’s raunchy calling for her in The Hollywood Reporter
Nicole Kidman’s is set to turn her image upside down with raunchy psychosexual drama Babygirl — and the most talked about fake orgasm in the world — about to hit the big screen.
But the Aussie star went a step further in her interview with industry trade mag The Hollywood Reporter, describing exactly why the role of her tech CEO involved in a steamy affair with a 20-something intern played by Harrison Dickinson was “a calling”.

“A lot of times women are discarded at a certain period of their career as a sexual being,” Kidman told THR.
“So it was really beautiful to be seen in this way.”
However, she also added that the film was meant to subvert the ideals of women who have it all.
“My character has reached a stage where she’s got all this power, but she’s not sure who she is, what she wants, what she desires, even though she seems to have it all,” she said.
“And I think that’s really relatable.”
She also added that some sex scenes, including one with Dickinson in which a George Michael song plays, were probably set to spark memes in the online world.
When asked if she considered it a compliment to be memed, the down-to-earth Aussie actress was measured.
“I try to stay deeply focused on my authentic self and stay with that. Everything else is beyond my control.
“But let’s wait and see what happens with the (memes from) Babygirl. I may be terribly upset the next time you talk to me.”
