Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster step out hand-in-hand for a dinner date in Los Angeles.

Deborra-Lee Furness reportedly believes her ex-husband Hugh Jackman’s new relationship won’t last despite claims he wants to marry the Broadway star.

It’s understood the 69-year-old told friends she gives his new romance with Sutton Foster “just one year before it collapses”, with an inside source telling RadarOnline.com that Furness thinks Jackman is going through a midlife crisis.

“Debs can spot a midlife crisis from miles away, and she knows Hugh better than anyone,” the insider said.

“It doesn’t take Einstein to see Hugh is infatuated. But Debs is telling friends it’ll fizzle out before long.

“The passion and novelty of this once secretive affair will fade, along with those love hormones!”

Furness and Jackman — who were married for 27 years — announced their separation in 2023, saying they want to pursue individual growth.

“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness,” the pair said in a statement.

“We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

After their breakup, rumours swirled about Jackman’s relationship with 49-year-old Foster, with sources claiming the pair were having an affair during the Wolverine star’s marriage.

Furness further fuelled speculation about the affair when she liked a video on Instagram of a gossip blogger claiming Jackman had blindsided Furness by “running off with Foster”.

Furness’ close friend, British media personality Amanda de Cadenet, also commented on the video, claiming the allegations about Jackman’s infidelity were true.

“You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!” Cadenet wrote.

Jackman and Foster — who have worked together on Broadway for more than 20 years — went public with their relationship just two months after the blogger’s video went viral.
