How far would you go to win boyfriend of the year?
A new viral clip on TikTok has revealed the moment a Sydneysider swapped shoes with his girlfriend because her feet were sore, trading his white Nike sneakers for her black kitten heels.
In the clip, the couple looked every inch the loved-up pair as they strolled around Darling Harbour, hand-in-hand.

The woman in the comments, a woman named Jess, confirmed it was her and her boyfriend captured in the footage.

“WAIT THAT’S ME AND MY MAN,” Jess wrote.
The brave man was praised online by fellow TikTok users for his courageous act of love.
“A lot of guys wouldn’t do this for fear of being emasculated but this is one of the manliest things u can do,” one person wrote.
“May this kind of love find me,” another wrote.
“What a king,” another added.
On Tuesday, Nat Barr spoke about the clip alongside The Daily Telegraph’s James Willis and Western Sydney Women CEO Amanda Rose, who both praised the man’s act of love.
“I’ve never worn high heels but I would say that firstly good on him and I think we know after a long night women’s feet can be sore so he’s done the right thing but from the vision this is not the first time he’s done this,” Willis said.
“He is walking very well in the heels. If he enjoys wearing them, good luck to him but I think he’s just a very good boyfriend.”
Rose said if he’s wore heels before, he should think about carrying an extra pair of shoes for his girlfriend in the future.
“If he’s done this before he should prepare ahead and have a pair of shoes for her to put on like some slip ons,” Rose said.
“What the bonus here is they are obviously the same size so she can also wear all of his shoes at any time and vice versa if he chooses.
“That is the positive I see in this.
“He just literally doubled her shoe collection by being the same size as him.”
