Nicole Kidman, a co chair of the Met Gala 2026, has stunned the red carpet as the Australian star continues to thrive following her high-profile split from Keith Urban.

The Moulin Rogue star was met with cheers and applause as she stepped out in the stunning gown.

Talking about her look, Kidman said, “I wanted something red because I wanted to embrace the way in which red has been used for years. I feel that it’s a strong symbol for love, for passionate love, for vitality, for power, and motherhood.”

Kidman added that Sunday Rose will still have to be at school tomorrow morning at 8am.

In 2026, Met Gala attendees will honour costume art at the exclusive fashion event.

The theme coincides with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s spring 2026 exhibition, Costume Art, which features garments and objects of fashion from 5000 years of history.

The exhibition, which has created the task for celebrity attendees to follow, is broken into “thematic body types”, including categories Naked Body, Classical Body, Ageing Body and more.

This Met Gala is predicted to deliver some of the best fashion moments in recent years.
