Aubrey Plaza lists Los Angeles home for $10 million following death of her husband

Hollywood actor and comedian Aubrey Plaza has listed her Los Angeles home for $6.5 million (AUD $10 million) following the death of husband Jeff Baena.
The Horse Girl director was found dead on January 3 in the Los Feliz home he shared with Plaza.
Plaza recently appeared on comedian Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast and said the loss of her husband was a “daily struggle”.

Plaza and Baena began dating in 2011 and secretly wed on their 10-year anniversary in a low-key affair during the pandemic.
In October 2022, the creative couple purchased the home for $4.7 million (AUD $7.2 million).

Now on the market, the four-bedroom property features six bathrooms, a screening room, wine cellar, and state-of-the-art sound system.
Built in 1928, the Spanish colonial-style home features many distinctive elements associated with the architectural style including a red tiled roof, arched doorways and windows, and wrought-iron details.

The property has since been beautifully renovated in a contemporary style that both complements and honours its heritage.
The interior colour palette is a mix of warm neutral tones, including dusty pinks, terracotta and plum.

A light-filled kitchen leads out onto a sunny, tiled patio with views of the garden and swimming pool.
One of the bathrooms features a unique combination of mustard and deep green tiles.

A swimming pool sits in the centre of a beautifully landscaped garden with tropical plants and palm trees providing shade overhead.
Multiple outdoor areas provide plenty of opportunity to soak up the enviable Los Angeles weather.

In a nod to wellness trends, the home also features an oversized steam room for relaxation and rejuvenation.
“This is more than a home,” the listing states. “It’s a private sanctuary, brought back to life with care, style, and enduring character.

“A rare opportunity for those seeking space, seclusion, and authentic Spanish charm.”
The listing comes at the end of Plaza’s press tour for new film Honey, Don’t directed by Ethan Coen and starring Margaret Qualley and Chris Evans.
