TikTok star Steph Bohrer forced to apologise to pilot after sharing romantic note left for her in airport

A glamorous influencer has been forced to apologise to a pilot after sharing a romantic note he left for her at an Atlanta airport, which she later shared online with her TikTok followers.
US woman, Steph Bohrer, 23, who lives in Charleston, South Carolina, claimed a pilot came up to her at the airport and left a handwritten note on a brown napkin, calling her the most beautiful woman in the world.
Bohrer was waiting alongside her friend Maya, eating an egg and cheese sandwich, when the bold pilot strolled up to her to deliver the note.

The mystery pilot only offered an illegible signature.

Bohrer said she didn’t even see his face. However, Maya said she only saw him for a split second, describing him as short and blonde.
The clip has so far racked up 21 million views online. Three million viewers have also liked it.
Bohrer created a follow-up video, saying she never expected to get so much attention.
“I wasn’t gonna make a follow-up video about this, but I just have been getting sent like news articles all day, like I’m literally on the national news and I don’t know why, because I just posted this innocent little video,” she said.
“I was sitting in the Atlanta airport eating an egg and cheese sandwich with my friend Maya and this was placed in front of me and I read it and that’s all that happened.”
Bohrer claimed she didn’t see the pilot’s face, but did see a pilot walking away. Her friend claimed the pilot was short with blonde hair. The influencer also claimed he had no ring.
“‘It was just a nice gesture. I don’t think he wanted this to be on the news, and I’m really sorry. He just was giving me a compliment,’ she said in the clip.
“I don’t even know his name, signature, anything. I don’t know anything. Don’t have his phone number, and it’s okay. You don’t have to set us up… I’m good.”
She concluded she plans to frame the napkin as a memento for a “nice compliment” she was given.
Finishing the clip, she said she didn’t write the note herself.
A number of TikTok users have a mixed response.
“The best part about this was that it was an unsolicited, selfless act of kindness. The world needs more of this energy,” one person wrote, praising the act.
“But if he wanted it to be ‘romantic’ wouldn’t he have left a number? A snap? Made his signature clear? It seems harmless, kind and genuine. Leave it alooooone Inside Edition,” another added.
“I remember receiving the exact same message from a pilot 2 years ago. And yes, he was married. And yes this is a common pickup trick they do,” another wrote.
