The final day of the Democratic National Convention has come to an end.

Taking place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, day four included a moving performance from singer P!NK.

Actress and producer Eva Longoria said ‘Yes She Can’ and The Chicks performed a clunky performance of the national anthem.

Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for President and laid out her plans for Gaza, Ukraine, abortion rights and opportunity for all.

‘We got a lot of big fights ahead of us’

Governor Roy Cooper has spoken about his knowledge of who Harris is.

“Kamala is a leader who does exactly what she says she is going to do,” he said.

“We got a lot of big fights ahead of us.

“And we have one hell of a fighter to take them on.

“I know that because I know her.

Kamala will fight for you, and when Kamala fights, she wins.”

Heartwarming tribute from Harris’ sister Maya

Harris’ sister Maya Harris has paid tribute to their mother Shyamala Harris.

“In 1958 a 19-year-old from India left the only country she had ever known to forge a future.

“We called her mummy.

“She was a devoted mother to her two little girls.

“But most of all mummy was trial blazer.

“Mummy had great expectations for us, but even greater expectations of us.

“She raised us to believe we could be or do anything, and we believed her.

“Mummy understood the power and the possibility that comes from knowing who you truly are.

“I so wish mummy could be here tonight.

“I can see her smiling, saying how proud she is of Kamala.

“Then without missing a beat, she would say ‘that’s enough you’ve got work to do’.”

Donald Trump suffocated the soul of the Republican Party

Former Member of the House Adam Kinzinger is a conservative but has no time for Trump.

“He is a faithless man pretending to be righteous,” he said.

He is a perpetrator who can’t stop playing the victim.

“He puts on quite a show but there is no real strength there.

“Donald Trump has suffocated the soul of the Republican Party.”

Harris worked at McDonalds, Longoria worked at Wendys

Actress and producer Eva Longoria has taken to the stage excited over this ‘historic moment’.

“I have known Harris for over a decade,” she said.

“She comes from a family much like mine and yours.

“She worked at McDonalds and I worked at Wendys. And look at us know.

“We were able to look past the horizon because our families supported out dreams.

“Kamala’s success is our success. She supports us to dream.”

Governor Whitmer went on to say when something goes wrong, Americans will ask: “Who the hell is in charge?”

“What if it’s him?

“What if it’s that man from Mar A Lago?

“I know, in a crisis, we need someone strong enough to come up with a plan, tell the truth and bring people now.

“Right now, before the crisis is when we get to choose.

“Why wouldn’t we choose a leader who is tough, tested and a total badass?

“I know who I want as our commander-in-chief.

“America let’s choose Kamala Harris.”

‘That woman from Michigan’ brushes off Trump

Governor Gretchen Whitmerof Michigan has brushed off criticism she received from Trump.

“Donald Trump called me ‘that woman from Michigan,’ as an insult,” she said.

“Being a woman from Michigan is a badge of honour.

“Like women across America, we just GSD. Get stuff done.”

Veteran pride of display

War veterans have filled the stage as Arizona Representative Ruben Gallego spoke about Trump’s disrespect for veterans.

Harris has defended her support for veterans fiercely, saying she will protect their benefits.

“The veterans who defend our nation aren’t just the reason we can sleep at night,” Gallego said.

“They are the reason we can dream.”

‘Donald Trump does not understand the world’

Former United States Secretary of Defence has highlighted the difference between a Trump and Harris presidency on the global stage.

“Trump tells tyrants like Putin they can do whatever the hell they want,” he said.

“Kamala Harris tells them ‘the hell you can, not on my watch’.

“Donald Trump does not understand the world.

“Kamala will keep America’s military the strongest in the world.

“She understands the role of our military.

“The military’s role is to defend Americans. It’s sure as hell not to put immigrants in camps.”

Trump skipped meetings to suck up to dictators

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly has ripped into Trump based on his time working in US intelligence.

“Donald Trump skipped his intelligence meetings,” he said.

“He was too busy sucking up to dictators and dreaming of becoming one himself.

“Kamala Harris understands standing with our allies means standing up for Americans.

P!NK: ‘Enough is enough’

P!NK’s choice to perform What About Us, a poignant song, was delivered at a powerful moment of the DNC

“Enough is enough,” P!NK sang.

“What about us,” the song continues.

Audience members raised their phones with flash lights on, lighting up the stadium with a magical glow.

Democrats could be seen crying as the singer delivered an incredible and emotional performance.
