The final day of the Democratic National Convention has come to an end.

Taking place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, day four included a moving performance from singer P!NK.

Actress and producer Eva Longoria said ‘Yes She Can’ and The Chicks performed a clunky performance of the national anthem.

Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for President and laid out her plans for Gaza, Ukraine, abortion rights and opportunity for all.

Drummers send the crowd wild

The Chicago Bull’s drum line has taken to the stage with a performance that is worthy of America’s

Performing tricks, dance moves and even at one point playing drums upside down, the crowd went wild for their local musicians.

Heartbreaking message from an abortion advocate

American Anya Cook and her husband Derick took to the stage to advocate for abortion rights.

“Two years ago a miscarriage almost killed me,” she said.

“At 16 weeks my doctor told me to prepare for a stillbirth.

“But my State’s abortion restrictions kept it from me.

“I miscarried in a bathroom.

“I will never forget the look on my husband’s face as he tried to stop the bleeding,” she said as her husband fought back tears.

“Trying to do what doctors should be doing.

“I can’t change the past, but we can choose a different future.”

DJ Metro is back for a quick 60-second spin

Within a short 60 seconds, DJ Metro has managed to get two more name mentions in.

Yelling towards the crowd, he said: “If you’re ready to keep our vice president in The White House make some noise!”

Noise was made.

He has promised, “DJ Metro will be back for more”. Yay.

‘Damn slogan on a hat’

Florida Representative Maxwell Frost has said this election is about climate change, slamming Trump.

“Peace is essential to our climate and war destroys our environment.

“This election is about every drop of water we consume.

“Fighting the climate crisis is patriotic.

“And unlike Donald Trump, our patriotism is more than some damn slogan on a hat.

“It’s about actually giving a damn for the people living in this country.

“Let’s get to work and elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for our planet, for our future, for our present and for our people.

Harris understands the climate crisis, Trump called it a hoax

US Senator and Native American woman Deb Holland has spoken about the importance of protecting land and the country.

“We have a responsibility to take care of our planet,” she said.

“Donald Trump never learned that lesson. He called the climate crisis a hoax.

“He made it easier for companies to poison our air and water.

“America needs a president who will lead the world in climate change.

“We need a President who understands that assignment.

“That’s Kamala Harris.”

Beyoncé’s rumour hits fever pitch

We already know we will be treated to a musical performance by singer P!NK.

However, a weeks-long rumour that superstar Beyoncé would perform has reached fever pitch.

TMZ has reported that multiple sources have confirmed the Single Ladies star is in Chicago and is getting ready to step on stage.

Although we saw P!NK’s soundcheck in the stadium, it is not uncommon to miss Beyoncé’s soundcheck.

She is known for rehearsing privately and bringing her own audio crew to avoid the spoiler of a soundcheck.

It also appears the crowd is hoping for a surprise performance from Queen Bey, as many have come dressed in Cowboy Carter attire, the name of Beyoncé’s latest album.

The exonerated five

Five teens wrongly convicted over the assault and rape of Trisha Meili in Central Park have spoken to the DNC crowd.

The five men spoke about their collective 41 years in prison before they were exonerated after the perpetrator confessed.

“Walk with us, march with us, vote with us,” Yused Salaam said.

Citing the need for justice, he said: “Together, on November 5th, we will usher in Kamala Harris and Tim Walz into The White House.”

The real star of DNC appears to be DJ Metro

It’s become quite clear that DJ Metro may need a few lessons on how to use his DJ decks.

The crowd was treated to what may be the worst-ever transition going from Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” to Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber.

He is interrupting songs to wax lyrical with his own inspiration and has said, “I’m DJ Metro,” about 20 times.

‘FUBAR’

New York Representative Pat Ryan said Trump was: “A serial liar, a cheater, and a thief.”

He said he wasn’t able to use the word he wanted to describe Trump.

Instead, he said, ‘FUBAR. If you don’t know what it means, Google it.’

According to Google, FUBAR stands for “F****d Up Beyond All Recognition/Repair.”

DJ Metro brings the ‘vibe’

The Democrats have brought in DJ Metro, also known as Chris Metro Matto, as entertainment between speakers.

I’m not sure how much experience DJ Metro has, nor am I suggesting he isn’t a great DJ. However, I will say he is really hitting the decks and adding as many sound effects as possible.
