Brisbane has sealed their place in history with back-to-back premierships in a dominating second-half against Geelong.

Saturday’s clash was the first grand final since 1909 to have level scores at half-time but the deadlock couldn’t last.

And when it broke, it was a Lions flood.

Recap all the action from the MCG below!

Subs confirmed

Lachie Neale for the Lions and Jack Martin for the Cats which is something of a surprise.

Chris Scott reveals key match-up

Lions confirm Neale is the sub

As he was in Fremantle’s 2013 decider.

Mitch Cleary says the Lions are confident he will not reinjure his calf but were more concerned about his durability given he has played just three quarters of footy in 56 days.

Gout Gout in the building

He’ll be firing the starting pistol for the grand final sprint, but the native Queenslander is right behind the Lions.

Politics and sport

Some say they shouldn’t mix, but that hasn’t stopped leaders from trading barbs at the grand final breakfast.

Fagan speaks on 7

“It hasn’t been that difficult because his injury is fine,” he says on Neale.

“The end of the day it’s a conversation with Lachie for him to assess where he’s at.”

On Geelong

“Their contest work is fantastic in our qualifying final, we got caught out,” he said.

“We tried a few things last time, but it didn’t seem to work.”

On Jarrod Berry.

“Brotherhood is one of our strong values at the footy club so I’ll probably talk to the group about Jarrod Berry and pull on the heartstrings a little bit.”

Lions GM talks Neale

Brisbane’s footy boss, Danny Daly has talked through how they came about the decision on Lachie Neale.

“It’s one of those ones where game day Fages decides what he wants to do when he gets to the ground so we will know more then,” Daly said on SEN.

“It hasn’t been an added layer of difficulty. Lachie has gone about his business in the background. Lachie basically said to us he would go away and do everything he could; he has done that.

“We haven’t checked in every day or made a big focus; it’s all been in the background. It’s ramped up in the last week and made some more noise in the media. He is a professional on the field but what he has done off field has been extraordinary.

“We put our trust in his decision, we know he wouldn’t do it if he wasn’t right. He played through injuries in the finals series last year as well, we have great belief in him.”

Couldn’t ask for better

Duncan speaks after retirement

The Geelong champion won’t feature in today’s decider as he prepares to say goodbye to the Cats faithful.

He is expected to join West Coast’s coaching staff but for now is still focused on enjoying the day.

Snoop promises a ‘special show’

The D O GG is in the house ahead of his pre-game show.

He’s done the Olympics and the SuperBowl so there are no doubts over his ability to deliver on the big stage.

What his set list will be remains a mystery but he has plenty of hits to choose from.

He sat down with Seven’s Matthew Richardson, saying he watches AFL highlights to understand footy lingo, including what a ‘speccy’ is.

The rapper says he has a special relationship with Australia and promises a special show.
