No concerns over Daicos says Pies assisstant

Nick Daicos will play against Fremantle tonight after being declared fit for the clash at Adelaide Oval.

Daicos was a late withdrawal against Brisbane last week but will take on the Dockers.

“He’s trained fully this week and is right to go. He’s passed his fitness test. He’s done main training this week,” assistant coach Hayden Skipworth told Fox Footy.

Daicos stepped onto Adelaide Oval for his warm up at about 5.45pm and moved freely.

Daicos took a couple of shots from the pocket as soon as he was on the field. The star jogged half a lap of the centre square, then spent time kicking with Isaac Quaynor and Josh Daicos on the wing

Daicos had plenty of energy and was kicking on both feet.

He then shared a hug with Pat Voss and the pair spent time chatting before Daicos took set shots for goal.

It’s Friday night footy!

Hello and welcome to the showpiece of Gather Round as Fremantle take on Collingwood under Friday night lights.

The teams should be confirmed shortly but the good news for Pies fans is Nick Daicos is moving well.

He has just stepped onto Adelaide Oval ahead of the game against Fremantle. All eyes will be on him as he warms up but at the moment he is moving significantly better than last week.
