AFL: Fremantle have roared home late to overcome St Kilda and right their names into the record books.

The Dockers, who have adopted the name Walyalup for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, won a club record 10th straight game thanks to another standout performance from Murphy Reid as well as four goals to Jye Amiss.

Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) had the lead early in the final quarter before the Dockers kicked six straight goals to end the contest.

Relive all the action!

The milestone man gets a goal!

Just too many errors from the Saints and the space opens up on the wing as Frederick handballs to Erasmus who runs inside 50 and splits the middle to give Freo back the lead in game no.50.

Brad Hill puts Saints back in front

It’s a bouncing ball inside 50 and it gets big on Brennan Cox who fumbles and it gets out of the back to Hill who produces a lovely finish running into the pocket.

Saints by one point.

Voss finally gives away a free

He gets too aggressive against Silvagni and throws him to the ground, giving the Saints a free kick out of the middle.

The ball goes deep, but the Dockers just about repel the attack, and there’s a ball-up at the Saints’ half-forward.

Freo jump out of the gates

They win the centre clearance and jsut pressure the Saints defence into repeat errors.

Muprhy Reid centres with a chip to Switkowski who gets his first of the game and put the Dockers back in front.

Ross shares his thoughts

“It’s pretty even we’re on the fight we just got to go again

“They’re a really good team we’ll know they’ll come, I hoped by now they’d blow the whistle for Wilkie (against Voss) but I think it’s settled down now.”

Half-time Euro-Yroke 7.3 (45) Walyalup 7.2 (44)

The Dockers largely dominated that quarter but the Saints found some strong contested marks up foward.

Freo got on top in the clearances and now lead 19-17 and are plus 12 in contested ball.

Pat Voss is way too strong for Cal Wilkie at the moment, and Silvagni is struggling one-on-one with Amiss.

But the Saints are hanging tough at the moment and other than Voss’ goal to put Freo in front there has been little run and carry so far.

Freddy with the finish!

Walyalup have the ball inside 50 but can’t find the right foot to get the shot off as they handball into the pocket, where Frederick works it around and snaps a wonderful finish to get Optus rocking!

Mason Wood has a second

The Saints are happy to kick mark and wait for space to open up in front of them.

They pick their way through the Dockers’ defence before sending it inside 50 where McVee is too small to compete with Wood in the air, who clunks a strong mark.

Saints fighting back just as the Dockers threatened to pull away to now lead by seven.

Worner walks it through and gives away a free

Karl Worner deep in defence walks it over the line and gives away a free for insufficient intent.

He had time to get rid of it before crossing the line but the Saints were lurking.

It’s probably the right call and Phillipou gets one from the goal square.

Voss gives Freo the lead

End to end from the Dockers as they just work it through hands as Murphy Reid runs towards 50 where Voss outmuscles Cal Wilkie and kicks his second to give Walyalup the lead for the first time tonight.
