AFL: Fremantle have roared home late to overcome St Kilda and right their names into the record books.

The Dockers, who have adopted the name Walyalup for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, won a club record 10th straight game thanks to another standout performance from Murphy Reid as well as four goals to Jye Amiss.

Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) had the lead early in the final quarter before the Dockers kicked six straight goals to end the contest.

Hall doubles up!

Dockers miss the target from the free kick and it’s a mass of boides inside 50 for the Saints.

Brad Hill has a shot but it’s cut off but Max Hall finds space and snaps through the mass of bodies to kick his seconds.

Cox wanted the push, but Caminiti misses anyway

Brennan Cox has a right to be aggrieved as he receives one of the most obvious push in the backs you’ll see but isn’t paid.

Caminiti takes the mark but kicks out on the full from 50m out.

Stocker goes bang

Fremantle force the turnover from the wing and Wagner goes to Jye Amiss but Stocker leaves his man and crashes into Amiss to spoil it 10 plus rows back into the crowd.

Pressure is hot early.

Saints make perfect start

St Kilda with the perfect start as they win the clearance and find Max Hall in the forward pocket.

It’s a tough kick but the finish is terrific and that’s an early highlight for the visitors.

Dockers urged to embrace flag hype

As hype continues to build around the Dockers a club, great is urging them to embrace the noise.

The milestone man

It’s been the talk of the town and Fremantle midfielder Neil Erasmus will get his moment in the sun, or moon in this case, as he prepares to bring up game No.50..

Not sure what merchandise Fremantle are rolling out for it but fair to say they’ve got nothing on Collingwood.

The keys to victory

Former Eagle and Hawk, Xavier Ellis has outlined a special role for Pat Voss that could go along way to deciding this contest.

The perfect 10

It’s Fremantle’s third attempt at an a perfect 10 but past club greats are backing this current side to acheive the feat.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Optus Stadium, where Fremantle are chasing history as they look to extend their win streak to a club record 10 straight.

You imagine Ross Lyon will have a few tricks up his sleeve and the Dockers will be wihtout Caleb Serong after he went down with a calf injury.

It’s freezing conditions tonight, but hopefully there’ll be some hot Friday night action.
